In October, New Life will be collecting items for Foster Village, located on Fitzhugh Road.  Foster Village provides support and services to foster kids and foster families, such as supplies for foster parents who get an emergency call asking them to take a child and need supplies ASAP.

These are the items that are helpful at this time:

  • New fall and winter clothing, any size (remember, foster kids are not just babies and toddlers)
  • New summer clothes off the clearance rack, any size
  • Lightweight pajamas (they have enough winter pajamas)
  • New infant and toddler socks
  • And (of course new) larger sized diapers (sizes 5-7) and wipes

All clothes must be new! (If you have used items, Kym can list them on the Foster Village Facebook page.)

Imagine the relief on a foster parent’s face getting the diapers needed to bring a foster child to the child’s new home—and imagine what fun a foster child will have choosing new clothes from the Foster Village closet for school or after a growth spurt--and know that you can help provide that.

Bring the items to church any Sunday in October, and Kym Oltrogge will collect them. And thank you for your generosity.
